The government[1] of Hawaii is divided into three branches the Executive Branch, The Legislative Branch and the Judicial Branch. The Governor is the head of the Executive Branch. The Legislative Branch of the Hawaii consists of the House of Representative and the State Senate. The Supreme Court of Hawaii is the head of the Judicial Branch. All the judicial decisions of the state are made by the Supreme Court along with the other courts of Hawaii

The Lieutenant Governor is the second highest officer in the state after the Governor.The Lieutenant Governor act as the assistant chief executive and also in the absence of the Governor from the state serves as the acting Governor. The Legislative Branch of Hawaii


The legislative power of the State of Hawaii is divided among the House of Representative and the State Senate. The members of the house and the senate shall be elected at an election.

The House of Representative[3] of Hawaii consists of fifty-one members. The members are elected for a two year term by the qualified voters of the respective representative districts. The presiding officer of the Hawaii House of Representative is the Speaker.

The Judicial Branch of Hawaii


The Hawaii Judiciary Branch looks after all the law and regulations of the state. All the Judicial decisions of the state of Hawaii is taken by the Supreme Court of Hawaii, The Intermediate Court of Appeals, Land Court, Tax Appeal Court, Circuit Courts, Family Courts, District Courts and Office of the Administrative Director of the Courts.
